Double cylinder locks, or double-keyed cylinder locks, have keyholes on both sides. As the name suggests, they can only be locked and unlocked with keys on both the interior and exterior.

A major upside of this is enhanced security, as access is now limited only to those who have keys. For this reason, they are commonly found in commercial units, main doors, main gates and shop-houses. Do remember to always have your keys with you, though, or you might risk getting locked in or out.
